Omar Taiebi

Omar TAIEBI began his career in Washington Square, a creation by RUDOLF NOUREEV.

He then joined the Victor Ullate Company in Madrid, and in 1990 The Ballet Stars Dancers Company in TOKYO under the artistic direction of Melissa HAYDEN, a star at the New York City Ballet.

He was hired at the Grand Théâtre National de Bordeaux where he participated as a dancer or soloist in all productions of the great classical repertoire, by contemporary choreographers and in international tours by successive directors, Paolo Bortoluzzi, Eric Vu An and Charles Jude.

With the latter, he also participated in the private international tours of the stars of the Paris Opera in the United States and Japan.

Holder of his DE and C.A., he teaches classical dance in Paris and teaches DE and CA courses at the Centre National de la Danse (Paris Pantin), as well as DE technical training for dancers at the Paris Opera.

Since September 2012, he has been the director of the École Nationale Supérieure de Danse de Marseille.
