Ketevan Motsonelidze

Born in Tbilisi, Georgia, Ketevan started studying ballet at the Tbilisi “V. Chabukiani” Ballet Art State School, when he was 10, and graduated 8 years later as a Ballet Artist. He then went on to study at the Pedagogics – Psychology Faculty at the Tbilisi “A. S. Pushkin” State Pedagogical University where he became a certified pedagogue.

As soon as he graduated from Art School he started his dancing career becoming a member of the Tbilisi “Z. Paliashvili” Opera And Ballet State Theatre company, performing in shows like Don Quixote, Swan Lake, Laurencia, Giselle and others.

After 11 years as a dancer, Ketevan went on to pursue a career as a teacher, teaching Classical Ballet and Georgian National Dance at Tbilisi #165 School, and since 2001 he is the Head  of Trainings and Classical Ballet Pedagogue of his former alma mater the Tbilisi “V. Chabukiani” Ballet Art State School
